When my then 3-year-old son’s preschool approached me about his difficulty integrating himself with his peers, I couldn’t get one dreadful thought out of my head — that in a few years’ time, he would end up with no one to sit next to at lunch, or no one to play with at recess. My sweet boy, who loved being with other kids, was having trouble with basic social interactions and with communicating effectively. Within just one week of working with Andrea, I noticed a huge change in my son. He was making eye contact, listening better, responding to questions more appropriately, and was generally happier and more confident with his peers and adults alike. My son has improved tremendously after a year of regular sessions with Andrea. She has helped him develop speech and communication skills that enable him to interact/play with his peers, make his needs and opinions known, and move through his world with confidence. Andrea achieved this in a caring environment tailored specifically to my son’s needs. She was also always available to answer questions about her practice and the methods and science behind it. I have no doubt that, because of Andrea’s work, my son now has the tools he needs to be independent, confident, and happy in his life. What more could a parent wish for his or her child? I would recommend Andrea to anyone in a heartbeat.
